This workshop aims to identify target groups (sustainable tourists), analyse trends for the tourist industry in the short and long term, and develop solutions to create offers for sustainable customers using a business model canvas.

In recent years tourism has come a long way from the popular 3S model (sun, sea, sand) to the 3E model (education, entertainment, excitement). Some also add a fourth element to that model – ethnicity. Moreover, the closing of borders during the pandemic, the geopolitical uncertainty and the rising prices and costs of conducting business activity have made it necessary to redesign business models and target groups. In order to do that, it is necessary to observe the tourist-customer behaviours and understand the trends from short- and long-term perspectives.

During the workshop, entrepreneurs representing the tourist industry will receive support in discovering their sustainability potential. Together we will create an offer of values which should meet customers' real needs.

  • Learn to identify target groups and respond to the needs of sustainable recipients.
  • Get to know the trends in the tourist industry.
  • Learn to develop solutions (offers) based on the Business Model Canvas.
