Marta Romankiv

Born in 1995 in Lviv. She is an interdisciplinary artist, creating installations, video works and social situations. She studied at the Faculty of Art of the Pedagogical University of Krakow. Master's degree in office at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. She is currently a student of Sociology at the Jagiellonian University. She has been a member of individual and collective groups in Poland and abroad many times. In 2020, she won an award in the international competition Allegro Prize, and in 2021 – a scholarship holder of the Gaude Poland Scholarship Program of the Minister of Culture.Regardless of what concerns activities around the issue of social separation, and more specifically the subject of nationality, citizenship and the related social criteria. Her projects are mostly participatory, and I find myself on the borderline of activism, social sciences and art. The artist has been living and working in Poland since 2015.
